Autumn UK trip 2014 - Part 8: Riverside Museum (Transport Museum)

It was drizzling when we came out of the Kelvingrove Museum. Luckily, it's a really soft drizzle so we continued our visitation hours walking towards the new Transport Museum which is know as Riverside Museum. We just followed the signboard and walked for about 10 minutes. As the name suggested, the Riverside Museum is situated by the river that flows along the city. Our car park was also by the river. We crossed the river by following the under-bridge route. Some graffiti on the under-bridge tunnel wall. I walked behind Cembam while checking out our surroundings. Well, it was rather secluded from the crowd. Just be cautious and careful. And here we are..Riverside Museum accompanied by soft droplets from the sky. The rest of the family had already gone into the museum. We checked out the souvenir shop first looking for a nice mug or fridge magnet as a token of memory being here. Unfortunately non to our liking and it costs quite expensive for a giat-

Autumn UK trip 2014 - Part 7: Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum

It was a very nice night in Travelodge Glasgow. We kinda had a slow start that morning. Bilik aku paling malas skali nak bersiap. My room like usual, my father in law, my Heykal my BIL and Cembam with Xiyad. So for sure no action lo...HAHAHAHAHA. We had our breakfast and headed out. The usual routine, arranging the stuffs inside the van, making sure Xiyad's stroller can be easily brought out to be used. So I drove towards the location that has been set in the GPS - the Transport Museum that has changed its name, moved to a new location and called Riverside Museum. Unfortunately, the GPS was not updated and we couldn't find Riverside Museum in it. So I just assumed, the location of the new museum wouldn't be that far. So after 30minutes driving, we arrived at the old location of the Transport Museum. Parked there with a sufficient estimated parking fee, we headed out and walked under the cold weather. The Riverside Museum has it's signboard placed near the pa

Autumn UK trip 2014 - Part 6: Lake District

Okay..Day 4 of our Autumn trip is set to head towards Scotland. But we went shopping first at Meadowhall Shopping Center around Sheffield area that morning. We bought some groceries first at Tesco. You know what, after spending time at UK's Tesco, now I don't mind buying Tesco's brand for something money-value though. hehehehe. In Meadowhall, we didn't really wandered around much. We straight went into Primark outlet where the prices are affordable and really cheap for some items. So,I decided to buy decent clothing for my family's souvenir rather than buying a low quality "i love london" t-shirt. I bought some t-shirts, Office shirts that costs 7pound each and few pcs of Xiyad's clothes. I think we spent almost 2 hours here and headed straight to Lake District. Following the GPS, we used the same road as the one before. Looking back at the greenery scene and drove for around 3 hours if I could recall correctly. Acik was asking us
