Wintercation Kimichi Land Part 5 - Seoul Zoo, Lotte World

 Day 2 of using our DSP, we went to Seoul Grand Zoo. I googled around and saw the price for Lift 2-times + Zoo is RM51. In the subway, there were many elders with their hiking gears that day. The Ahjumma cap sytle can be found all over the place. When we reached the station, it was like we were the only 'young' people. Hahahaha. 

Turned out that Seoul Zoo is located just by the Seoul Grand Park where all these elders would spend their time hiking with friends. Some would just stroll and walk in the Zoo too. We redeemed our tickets for the entrance and 2-times sky lift. The sky lift is quite long. It moves really slow so you just enjoy the chilly wind and the view from up there. Turned out that the sky lift has a 2nd trail going further up. So we decided to take the 2nd trail going further up and plan to walk down inside the zoo.

1st trail sky-lift ni yang roof dia biru putih. Korang nampak nun situ ada sky-lift roof oren-putih tu? Haa hat tu 2nd trail naik lagi tinggi.

Another option dari walk crossing that bridge to the entrance, they have taxi, shuttle bus and that tram too.

The sky lift experience is really a nice one. It was quite vacant that day. We strolled around, the tigers, lions and there's a closed area of the apes. But you need to really hold your breath coz it really stinks. Indoors + Cold + feces = you got what I meant. The Zoo is really big. But unlike the effort to walk during the hot sunny day in our Zoo Negara, the cold weather makes it bearable to walk all that steps.

After tired walking, we went to the sky lift again and turned out that 2-times sky lift coupon has been used-up because we took both trail to go up. So, we just walked slowly across the bridge towards the subway station. 

Tips: Anyone that redeemed or bought the 2-times sky-lift, make sure if you want to go back using sky-lift, don't continue to use your ticket on the 2nd trail. Unless you buy additional 1-way ticket going back. 

After we purchased our drinks to quench our thirst we headed to Lotte World. We planned to cover just these 2 places today. When we reached Jamsil Station, you emerged out from the entrance, you will reach Lotte Mall. We were trying to find a place to eat. So, masa ni Umobile started to buat hal. The roaming was not activated and I don't know how to activate the roaming for the day. So we were a bit struggling to find a place to eat. Tried to find some food outside coz logically inside Lotte world would probably more expensive right. But we could not find any halal place. So after we got some breads, we headed into Lotte World.

So actually in Lotte World there are many restaurants and cafes. And we had french fries at Lotte Burger and a nice cheap Americano there. Or maybe we were the one who don't really know if there's a haal rstaurants there coz we did not have our internet at that time. There's a praying room inside but you need to hit the button to call for the staff  or someone inside to open the door for you. 

Tips: If you guys planning to go and spend the whole day in Lotte World, you may perhaps bring your own food, bento. 

So this place, memang for the kids
la. You can see a lot of visitors with uniform school. At first I thought these students came here after school or just plan to wear the uniform to come here for good pictures. But the I started to spot many adults wearing uniform as well with kids. So I knew at that time it must have been the trend to visit Lotte World wearing school Uniform. My wife was like "Oooo sini tempat student2 lepak datang laaaa". 

I was like "Oiii...tu yang ada anak dalam stroller tu pun tuang kelas ke apa?". Hahahha camne dia boleh tak perasan la ramai yang pakai tu dh adults siap ada family. And the we passed by the shop that offers rental service of uniform. "Oooo..ni la kedai sewa dia ayah awakkkk". Hahahahaha sabor je lah.

My kids really enjoy the 4D rides. And there are 3 different 4D rides in there. During the first one tu, my wife and I were feeling nauseous. If only the ride lasted another 1 minutes, I might have puked. Tapi turned out my kids really enjoyed them!! My daughter pun bukan main lagi ajak repeat. Awak dah bingai-bingai dah. 

So the 2nd ride, I said to them I would just accompany them to queue, but terpaksa join juga the 2nd ride. Fiya my daughter bukan main berlagak siap pandang aku and said "AYAHHH..ARE YOU OKAYYY???!!" HAHAHAHAHA!! Ate ayah dah berkerut2 tahan nak muntah haaa. Third ride, I just let them queue themselves while Cembam and I just waited on the bench outside. Hahahaha.

Then we walked around and saw the "magical world" side and follow the direction. Lahhhh!!! the outdoor park!! So we kinda discovered the outdoor park when it was already night. Tapi the rides are more for the adults lah. We just ride 1 train with the kids and leave the place after few pictures taken.

When we were about to leave the place, there was a parade going on pulak. So tersangkut lagi there for few minutes before we headed home. Reached back to Itaewon, we bought the Turkish Kebab but the rice set that we have been passing by for the past few days.Fuhhh Ponekkk
