For the sake of memory, kenangan untuk anak-anak mungkin bila aku dah tiada, mari lah gagahkan diri untuk mencoret pengalaman ke South Korea. Harapnya I can finish writing till the final chapter of it. Hahahaha.
As a start, visiting Korea ni has been asked by Cembam berkali-kali dah. It became a reality after our flight to Brisbane to visit my sister was cancelled due to Covid in 2020, Air Asia harey tak refund, first they gave me credit account which I managed to let my sister in law used it and she just transferred back to me in cash. But suddenly Tony converted it as voucher which can only be used to purchase tickets with the same code D. So my only options are just Delhi, Gold Coast, NZ, Japan and Korea.
Surely I am supposed to plan for the Brisbane visit again, but the flight to OZ was not yet opened at that time, and 1 fine day I said to Cembam "gi book Korea sebelum aku berubah fikiran". And there you go. I asked her to handle everything coz at that time I was sooo busy with my work. Tapi sudahnya K-Eta pun aku yang setelkan. Hahaha. takpelah..
Our flight was on 27th Feb. With 2 big luggages, 1 hand luggage and like always my camera bagpack, we booked Grab to the airport. We exchanged 1million Won and topped up WISE card of 300K Won. Yeah, I chose Wise over Bigpay coz Tony punya Bigpay tu. Menyampah lah.
So the first harey thing happened was right after we came out of the Grab, Cembam asked me "ayah awak pakai kasut tu je ke? tak pakai boots?". Hahahahaha benda pertama tertinggal was the boots that I have sent to the cobbler to sew the sole sebab dah tercabut..last-last tak bawak. Terbaekkk
Tapi takpelah, the winter pun was ending. After checked in bag that took a while coz Fiya's check in was having some issues, we had our lunch. Damn, tempat makan official kuarga kami bila ke airport - Marrybrown dah tutup and will be replaced by Burger King. Then kami berjalan ke our gate sambil cari surau to pray for Zuhur and Asar. Sekali belum sampai gate dah nampak AA staff calling for INCHEONN!! Awal lagi sebenarnya.
Sowe were asked to bring out the boarding pass. Then nak kuarkan dari bag kamera. Eh? Mana beg? HAHAHAAH beg tertinggal lepas scan. Adoi. Jauh gak tu. Mujur kebetulan ada buggy kat situ, dia pun bawak le aku ke tempat screening bag tadi. adeh..Then after registered dekat the gate, we asked permission nak keluar sekejap gi solat. So selesai lah cerita kat KLIA2. Alhamdulillah our flight was not delay. On time. Cuma masa dah siap2 masuk semua, the pilot announced that their flight engineer on the way and we need to wait for him. After around 30 minutes, kami pun berlepas.
Sampai around 10PM waktu sana and after connected to the airport WIFI, I informed our airport transfer arrangement that we have landed. Immigration kaunter dia just bukak satu je masa kami sampai. Line panjang..Demm..Lepas agak lama menunggu, akhirnya settled and terus pergi collect our bag. Sampai2 nampak terus my first luggage, I took it and then my wife terus tunjuk our 2nd luggage, I pun just took the 2nd luggage. Keluar2 from the arrival hall terus nampak somebody holding my placard, terus follow and masuk MPV. Sejukkk..
We stayed at Itaweon AirBNB. Cembam nak yang ada dapur ada bilik asing ngan anak2 ok lahhh..Ikutkan. The check in was a quick and simple one. A day prior to the flight date, my host texted me the instruction to the house, the gate passcode, the door passcode, how to turn on heater etc. I paid 120K Won for the airport transfer including the late night and waiting charge as the driver waited for us more than an hour. Sampai2 je the house, terus buka beg nak makan megi. The 2nd bag which was the new bag that Cembam purchased for the trip. I was a bit surprised because the zip head was locked. I did remember I messed up the combination code and was not able to open it so I did not lock the zip head. Sapa pulak locked ni kan. I took the knife and was about to break the lock but then somehow I kodek2 the zip head and managed to pull them out from the lock. Bukak2 zip, terkuar makanan2, coco crunch maggie. The bag looked like macam baru lepas kena selongkar. I was like "Immi selongkar beg kami ke?"
Then my wife came into the room "Ya Allah ayah awak!! salah beg!!!!" HAHAHAHAHA DAMNNN!! Dah le baru sampai. Letih tak ilang. takkan nak ke airport balik. Salah tak salah beg, aku tetap amek sebungkus maggie dengan niat bayar balik la nanti bila jumpa owner. hahahaha.
Sebelum masak maggie, aku post status kat FB Group Road to Korea Official yang aku joined after we purchased the flight ticket. Mana la tau kan. Post nak kena approved dulu plak by Admin. Dah tengah malam. Tak lama lepas abeh makan megi, Cembam dari dalam bilik "ayah awak..dah ada orang reply kt FB!!" My wife pun aku suh join the group coz I asked her to plan everything kan.
Dapat contact number the bag owner, terus call. Mujur Airbnb ada wifi. Then to cut story short, we agreed untuk jumpa kat Seoul Station so that I can give them their bag. But she could not take our bag from AirAsia coz kena ada bukti boarding pass and everything. Luckily we did not spoil the bag owner's plan coz they were planning to spend the night kat airport. Takde la rasa bersalah sangat. So, set esok paginya lah jumpa di Seoul Station.
