Hahaha..a very delayed continuationof my Autumn UK Trip entry. But better late than never right? This time, I wanna share some pictures of Edinburgh City. The tagline that we saw in some of the billboard - THE BEAUTIFULLEST CITY
But I didn't remember if it's in the world, or in UK. But Edinburgh city is indeed very beautiful. I keep on pressing my shutter and snapping all over the place. Those english style buildings are preserved immaculately for the future generations throughout the world to adore it.
Going downhill from Edinburgh castle, we dropped by one of the souvenir shop there. Ayoh asked if I wana buy a snowcap coz if we purchased 2 pieces, we will get better discounted price. OK je..Thanks Ayoh. hehehehe..
Sebenarnya lepas tengok gambar aku ni baru aku ingt ayoh ada belikan snow cap ni..hahahaha
Silap la..aku patut belikan satu benda ni utk souvenir member laki aku si Najib yang tak kawin lagi tu..baru best. Yang LET ME INSIDE tu memang kreatif.hahaha
This is one of the ascending pathway that we have to traveled in finding the Halal turkish restaurant after finished touring the city and remembered that it was around the end period of our parking fee. We carried Xiyad's stroller up the stairs. Well, thanks to the GPS, we trusted it to lead our way towards the restaurant. Well, indeed it was. But unluckily, the restaurant was closed. Huhu..
Haha they really love to smile towards the lense..keke
Well, eventhough we are in the middle of the Edinburgh city, it's not packed with cars. Unlike KL. Hehehe.
We headed to the van in separate way after we discovered that the halal restaurant that we've been looking for was closed. That was because the rest just walked down the stairs just now while Cembam and I just had to reroute ourselves towards the van.
Then we set the GPS to the nearest mosque or Islamic center. But on our way, we spotted a restaurant called "Kampung Ali". Everyone was like "woww..it would be nice to have mee goreng mamak..bla bla bla". So we decided to stop by. Found a parking bay underground and we walked a bit into the resaurant.
It was a chinese Malaysian restaurant. We were greeted by a chinese, probably coming from Malaysia, a Malaysian..I don't know. When we were busy seating ourselves, 1 awkward question were asked from the chinese guy "Ok..so do you eat pork?". Err...Okay..that's really awkward. He presented himself as someone that knows about Malaysia but looking at us with Hijabs already a HUGE clue that we are muslims and I don't think the question was appropriate.
That was when my FIL signaled to walk out from the place and out of that sudden decision, my sister in-law, as polite as she could said to the waitress "we dont wanna eat here". HAHAHAHAHAHA. I know, it was in her best manner as he best thoughtful one, but the words that blurted out were so damn harsh. HAHAHAHA!!!! It's not easy though to blurt out a sudden polite english words. kekeke.
And then when we were heading err...north towards the nearest mosque, I asked acik if we were going to the right direction back to Sheffield. And after checking the GPS, we were actually going further away, so I took the next exit and set the GPS to the nearest mosque on the south direction. And it was like going back to Edinburgh City but around another area of it.
At this time, I was going back to the Van that we parked 3 minutes walking distance as we paid just enuff for our prayer time. Managed to grasp the road while I walked towards the van and parked just behind the Halal Restaurant.
That was when we had our late lunch at the halal restaurant which was situated just behind the mosque. Nice..
Going back to Sheffield from Scotland, Acik has nicely planned to use the road along the coast. Jalan tepi laut. Wow..subhanAllah cantekkk sangat the view along the way. But the road has few speed camera installed though. And I noticed I drove just a bit faster than the speedlimit and when I looked at my rear-view mirror, a flash was coming out from the speed camera..damn!!!
And masa ni la aku bengang gile. I have to drive the van but the view was sooo nice!!!! I wanna take photos, but at the same time I want them to have less time in the van and reach our destination as soon as I can. And when I asked Cembam to take photo, hmph...tido...arghh..memang such a waste. I just have to remember the view as part of my memory of living...SubhanAllah.
And I think that was the night when we reached Sheffield using a different route. The highway route where we emerged around Meadow Hall shopping complex. So I experienced 3 different routes going into Sheffield. And I still remember them till now. cewahhh..
